CHt Renewables Project goes live

A new 2nd phase CHt Renewables Project is commissioned

A CHt site in Hertfordshire has become the latest to join the CHt Renewables scheme.

Three forms of renewable energy technology have been installed and the output monitored;

1KW Wind Turbine - Energy produced between 24th-31st Oct (1 week) 1.6 Kwh
1KW Solar Photovoltaic Array - Energy produced between 24th-31st Oct (1 week) 11.2Kwh
Solar Water Heating System - Energy produced between 24th-31st Oct (1 week) 20Kwh

We are very excited about the performance of the new project so far.

It has achieved a CO2 saving of around 16Kg in just one week - the equivilant of a 160KM car journery from London to Birmingham
